"Bob Mayo! On the keyboards.... Bob Mayo!!"

Well...it's official. Colette moved in this Wednesday night, one day ahead of schedule. All is well with the world!!!! It is good to be in love and have your head screwed on right when it matters. The first time (1st wife), I didn't have it together and made some poor decisions and choices. This time, I think things will be different. BTW, cleaning your monitor (as I just did) also makes things very different.

We just got back from Target and Fred Meyer (nothing is too good for us). We went to Fred Meyer looking for shoes and shoelaces. Went to the shoe department and if we hadn't left when we did, we would still be there. The person in the department was so slow we might have died waiting for assistance. Sheeps!!!! So, on to Target. At Target, Colette found the liquid makeup she was looking for, and we got a large frying pan (12.5"), and a small tape measure (12',) and some more bowls of the same pattern we already have. Target may not carry Lalique or Baccarat, but it is a cheap way to furnish an apartment when both people are starting over as we are.

Colette is on the futon filing her toenails as I type. She got three pairs of jeans yesterday and I got a pair of dress slacks today. Most of my work-casual clothes are for fall/winter so I need some that are cooler. Colette favors jeans so that is what she gets. I would prefer her to wear tea length skirts and dresses but I don't force that on her. She would prefer I wear jeans, but again doesn't force it on me ... so we get along.

I got reassigned at work. I now work at the Airplane program level which is where I usually work. I like the higher view you get there, and since I don't do the nuts and bolts manufacturing flow scheduling, it works for everyone involved. We've got a really talented team in place for this team. Since scheduling/Project Management is a critical skill world-wide, we are lucky to have so many experienced people working on this proj. Took the boss out for lunch Wednesday and talked about the new assignment. He wanted me there and since he looked after me when I was on med leave, I owe it to him to do what he needs or wants. And since it happens to be what I do best, everyone gets well.

Just took her her Red Vines™ red licorice. She loves these things and I got a big smile in return. Gushy isn't it?? :-) Love is grand I'm telling you. The local radio station (101.5) has an 80's weekend going on. This is goodness. Colette and I both love the 80's music and we groove on this station. She happens to like 102.5 (classic rock) and I like 103.7 (alternative) but we both groove on the 80's. I'm telling ya....Seattle is groovesville.... The radio lady just said Eddie Murphy was caught in West Hollywood with a male prostitute who was posing as a woman. I wonder if Eddie knew??? Anyway, the hooker was arrested and not Eddie. Why is that??? And so they played "Party all the time" by Eddie...

Just looked at the incense burner. We forgot to get incense. Dang.

Oh yes. Update on Visual Page 1.0.1, which is what I use to create pages. For all you macsters, this prog really is the best thing you can use to create pages. It does the best formatting of any visual HTML creator and it is FAST!!!! The FTP function now works all the time and it is actually better than Fetch. When you click on a down triangle, it pivots and shows you the remote sub-directory instead of a new screen. Fetch doesn't do that. I love it. It doesn't do site management yet but it probably will in the future. Symantec has hit a home run with this prog.

****Later**** Just got back from executing a major wild hair. I was missing Colette (even though she was only 10 feet away) and decided to jump on the futon and hug her wildly. However, she was reading her Redbook so I just sat down and filed her toenail polish off. She's been talking about painting them with her spring colors and I didn't want her using that nasty smelling remover on her precious toes. Never did that for any other woman and it felt good!!! I got it bad don't I?? Ahhhhh.....love. A most excellent emotion and the only one worth having.

I bailed on the OP mailing list. Wasn't what I was hoping it would be. Plus, too much mail that I had to wade through and delete. So, Adios.

Were supposed to get rain this weekend (very unusual for Seattle) so we might stay in all weekend (very unusual for us). We need to go looking for a car for Colette and need to go apartment hunting very soon. As soon as the apartment is settled, we can leave a very cramped period of our relationship behind. We fell in love in this Studio, but, it is a studio after all. You can't really have two people in one of these for any length of time. We're going to look at renting a house or a three bedroom unit so we can have lots of room. I would like a puter room and guitar room so I can rock out or surf and we also need a guest room cause we do have a lot of her friends staying over lately.

We need to go get our pictures taken this weekend. My hair stylist wants one so she doesn't have to read my mind every time I come in. Plus, it would be nice for hour families to have a current picture of us. Maybe I'll even post it here.Nah......

Time to wrap this up and go snuggle. We have a candle lit and maybe we will watch a movie or something....

Just another pedestrian journal.....

Be Joyous!

Drew
