I have had it with this sleepless crap. Some nights I can't seem to get to even remember that I do sleep. I lost out on a job this week. So, I am thinking about that a bit. I am also thinking about how to get a site setup for someone I've been working with. Thinking I don't have enough apps to do a good job on my own site 'cause I don't have Photoshop or a scanner. Woe is me...

I've had Enya looping in the background over four songs for something like 6 hours now and the weird thing is that I'm not sick of it yet. The tunes are from The Memory of Trees and are: Anywhere Is, China Roses, Hope Has A Place, From Where I Am. I seem to have fallen in love with China Roses. It just slicks along and gets in your head. I have heard other people talk about Anywhere Is like that. Is just doesn't do it for me. I still think that Watermark is her best CD to date. 'Course, I was going through a divorce when it was released so strong emotions tend to stick things in your mind.

What is your favorite Enya CD or tune? Email me. Don't be shy, just let it out and vent. Maybe she makes you want to slit your wrists or your throat. Maybe you sit for hours silently crying for the worthless life you've led. Maybe you're not even reading this and I'm writing it for myself. Let me know.

It's 0657AM and I am now thooroughly screwed for having some sort of normal sleep cycle for the day or weekend. So it goes. Computers are my life, I have no life. HTML has sucked my brain dry and here I sit, typing as the sun comes up.

I had to use four different packages to get the master calendar done for this diary. I only have a 68040 / 33Mhz Mac with 20MB Physical RAM, 40MB with RAMDoubler. BTW, buy RAMDoubler soonest. Bestest product made for the Macintosh. I had to use NaviPress, HotMetal, PageSpinner (which really wasn't so good for this as it isn't graphical) and PageMill. The main work was done in HotMetal due to it's better usage of memory and faster table editing. This should have been an easy job as it was only 27 columns by 60 rows. Chewed up the processor making it run at all though.

I need a PowerMac. I've been looking at the 5215 'cause I can use the 16MB chip I already have in the new machine. A 75Mhz 603 'chine would be nice right around now. Have to reinstall all my apps as PPC but tis a small price to pay.

Going for some coffee....

Nah.... maybe I'll get to sleep sometime today. No coffee until I decide what I'm going to do. Should I redesign the site I have now? This is major decision here. It affects the primal seat of being for a webster. Love me, love my site type thing. After you've invested a lot of time in one of these things, it begins to take on a life of it's own. You don't care that other people don't know what's been updated recently. You know. That's enough. It begins to cry and need and make demands. It constantly cries out from it's lair in the basement "Update me! Now!!!". Till you can't ignore it and drag yourself into the hole you call an office and fire up the silicon for another session. Computers are my life...I have no life.

Enya has started to get on my nerves. Anywhere Is has just kicked in again. Ever perky. Ever bopping. Perkiness can creep you out ya know.
