Got to take a drug screen today for the new job. Maybe back to work at a conventional job in a week and a half. Which is a gift since there are still so many people out of of work.

I like to look at things and figure out how they got started or why they are the way they are. Case in point - I had breakfast in one of those 24 hour pancake/waffle/egg houses. It seems everyone is serving these new concoctions called "skillet" dishes. Basically, they are all the ingredients you would normally get in a meal all dumped into a ceraminc server and cooked. Why is that? Is it because it's a time saver to just cook it all together instead of working on two or three separate things? Or is it because they saw people mixing them together on their plate and decided to make it easy on diners? Or is it because they think people don't care how their food looks? You tell me!

Be well.
