My DSL service sucks. It's an on again/off again proposition. I can't count on it being there when I need it. I guess that is why I miss my Ricochet wireless. At least it was there whenever I needed it.
Been home sick. We had President's Day off. I ate an omelette and sausage, hash browns and buttered english muffin on Sunday and it tore me up. Made me sick as a dog. It's Wednesday and I should be at work but my gut is killing me. I forget sometimes that I cannot eat grease. It just messes me up too bad. And I am tired from being sick..and dehydrated too...and it's hard to sit down... :(.
Getting back to BeOS things....I don't think I have a piece of shareware or commercialware on my hard disk. It's all freeware or charity ware or some kind of other ware. But no warez...homie don't play dat and sides..there is no need. Everything you need on Be is free for the most part. It comes with a useable (tho not pleasant) email service; there are two flavors of ICQ clones, there is an AIM client, at least 3 good IRC choices, a free mp3 player named CL-AMP, the browser comes with the OS, HTML is free courtesy of CoolCat which I'm using now. All in all, this is a good time to be using Be...before the deluge of people who either haven't a clue or the people who will ruin it. Also, there are no virii (as far as anyone knows) or Trojan's (as far as anyone knows) so we're still safe that way. An upgrade is due out any day now...which will be nice. Maybe some eye candy on the interface side.
What's On My Mind
I need a new digestive system...or colon or need to have my pancreas or gall bladder or something removed. This crap has got to cease. I wish I could eat what I used to eat without having intestinal problems. Lot's 'o whining today..but I'm allowed....
