"Are they coming for us...cameras or guns..."

39 people dead in San Diego. Mass Suicide. What the hell is that??? Ya know what that is? That is what happens when people give up the right and privelage of thinking for themselves and hand that responsibility over to someone else. Really very sad. They were dead the minute they joined up with that group. I am very sorry for their families and friends. Sigh...

I return to work next Thursday. At 75% time, they gave me the option of 6 hour days or a day off. I took Friday's off. Now I just have to get all the bills paid I never thought I'd be around to deal with. Even bigger sigh...

Another Macintosh hoodoo...you can pick up Kaleidoscope color schemes at http://www.seagull.net/kaleidoscope/ ... just follow the links to Third Party schemes. Some are even FreeWare... which is nice. For me, I think that Be scheme is the best. And fastest. The ChromiumAu scheme also changes the trash icon so it works as well. There is even a very high tech look that changes all icons. All black. If you are into that thing. Good for Goth macheads. I nearly forgot, I read that Virtual Mac will be out to support the Preview Release of the BeOS. This means that you can run your Mac apps and print them until such time as enough apps become available for the BeOS. That is going to really set the Be system off. I'm thinking a lot of PowerPC owners are going to switch once they see that their mac apps run faster in an emulated environment under Be than they do in native MacOS. JLG 1, assorted Mac corp types 0.

BTW, Midnight Pumpkin has left OpenPages for good. She was at Cobwebs. Thanks to all the assholes, morons and assorted armchair psychiatrists, she has pulled up stakes and bugged out. Why can't people just hold out a hand instead of a litany of things another should do. Doesn't anyone remember that when you are hurting, the best thing is a hand holding your's in silence. Somebody just there for you, not trying to fix you or solve your problems...just there for you?? Well, the pseudo-intellectual's have won here. In the scheme of things, it probably doesn't matter. But I am glad I don't have their karma debt to lug around or have hanging over me. You betcha....it's all on the wheel.

Just got my laundry done for the week. Whew! Always glad when that's done. Don't have it piling up in drifts and having to navigate around it all the time.

As you might have noticed, the calendar page is revised. Seems to load much faster and new nav buttons. Wa hoo....I think I'm going to faint from the excitement I'm feeling right now. March is about to end and as far as months go, it's been a wet one. Not as wet as February, but wet enough. Mudslides and puddles and windshield wipers. Ever notice how when you get behind a semi, the windshield gets some kind of muck on it that requires toxic waste to get rid of? I wonder. Do you think they have a special gunk tank with a James Bond release valve for cars they don't like?? "Hmmm...hey Jethro?? See that?? A Suzuki car!!! Hit the switch will ya!! Haw haw haw!" Funny asshole...

Got a line on a house near work for $650 a month. Quiet neighborhood and I still don't have to hit I-5. Not as much space as I would like but after a studio apartment, even my gomobubble looks cavernous.

I'm yawning into my monitor...think it's time for a nap. No, better not. Be up too late to be useful tomorrow morning and I need to be. Smoke another ML and feel the rush.

Be Joyous!
